Map your processes from development to production in the integrated solution from BDF EXPERTS. Increase your efficiency in design and work preparation with SAP Product and Process Governance by BDF (SAP PPG) and the BDF SAP ADD-Ons Material Control Center (BDF MCC). We offer you best practices for all logistical processes: Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Configure-to-Order (CTO), Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) and also integrate our approaches into existing end-to-end processes.

The aim is to use SAP PPG and BDF MCC to increase efficiency in design and work preparation by allowing the design department to deal with the product once on a global basis and the work preparation department at local plants to adapt the parts lists to their respective production requirements.

Highlights of process mapping with BDF EXPERTS

With the help of the BDF MCC and the smart UI in the SAP product structure (iPPE) context, it is possible to map the entire production model and thus create end-to-end transparency, even for products with many variants. The 3D visualisation of production parts lists and handling support make the entire process even clearer.

All structures planned in BDF MCC and SAP PPG can be integrated into a wide variety of end-to-end processes. The structures are related to each other in the product structure (iPPE) and can then be transferred to plant-related production structures.

Hybrid BOMs can be derived for a mix of sales order BOMs and material BOMs.

Efficient and effective material master management

The Material Control Center (MCC) enables the creation of an efficient and powerful product data model to support the entire material supply chain. With the MCC, it is possible to easily import CAx data into SAP and generate material masters and development BOMs from it. The MCC thus forms a digital backbone for the synchronisation between development BOMs and CAx models.
