Our Managing Director Dr Ulrich Schmidt is responsible for the Digital Supply Chain division. After studying mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Ulrich Schmidt began his career at SDZ-GmbH - a consultancy firm for factory and logistics planning. In 1995, Ulrich Schmidt moved to SAP AG, where he was promoted to Head of Consulting Europe. In 2004, Ulrich Schmidt became a partner and Managing Director of BDF EXPERTS. Here he strategically built up the Digital Supply Chain division and the product development of the BDF Control Centre.

Managing Director Thomas Dohmen has been in charge of Corporate Finance and Treasury since the beginning. Thomas Dohmen studied economics and computer science at the University of Bonn. He has more than 20 years of experience in the SAP Treasury environment. Before joining BDF, Thomas Dohmen worked for an SAP Alliance Partner for Financial Supply Chain Management. In 2001, Dohmen founded bdf consultants GmbH together with Norbert Feldges, which, together with the later founded companies bdf solutions GmbH and bdf advanced GmbH, forms the current umbrella brand BDF EXPERTS.

Peter König has been the director of BDF Experts AG in Switzerland since August 2024 and is also responsible for the Austrian market. After graduating from the HTBL for electrical engineering and studying business telematics at the TU in Graz, Peter König took on leading SAP project activities in the commercial sector. In 1998, he founded his own SAP consulting company with colleagues. First as a partner and authorised signatory, later as managing director. He managed the consulting firm and SAP consulting and implementation projects for over 8 years. In 2010, he returned to consulting. Since 2011, SBB has been one of Peter König's most important customers in the area of PLM and EAM. In 2020, he moved to SBB Passenger Transport Maintenance as an Enterprise Architect and supported the S4 project. In August 2024, Peter König took over the management of BDF Experts AG in Switzerland.
