As part of our anniversary campaign marking 25 years of BDF EXPERTS, today we are taking you on a fascinating journey through the history of how we came to be named. Every name we have carried over the years is more than just a label. It is a reflection of our development, our vision and the way we have adapted to the dynamic world of digital transformation.
2001: born as “Business Development Finance Consultants GmbH”
Our story began on 6 July 2001 with the founding of Business Development Finance Consultants GmbH. This original name was a clear declaration of our mission: we wanted to support companies as advisers in the complex fields of business development, system integration and financial and management accounting. The focus was on providing specific, in-depth consulting services that helped our clients to optimise their processes and prepare themselves for the digital future. It was the bold start of a vision that would prove to be ground-breaking.
2008: evolution into “bdf consultants GmbH”
As our company grew strategically and we continued to expand our service portfolio, the time came for a change. In 2008 we evolved into bdf consultants GmbH. This name change reflected our maturity and the deepening of our expertise beyond the original core areas. We adapted flexibly to new market needs and established ourselves as a more comprehensive digitalisation partner, supporting our clients in many different ways. The logo of this phase, often featuring a dot matrix, symbolised this diversification and our steady growth.
Since 2019: we are BDF EXPERTS, Building Digital Future
In 2019 we took a decisive step: the establishment of the BDF EXPERTS brand
together with our claim “Building Digital Future”. This name embodies our positioning today
as an expert in digital transformation, particularly within the SAP ecosystem
and with a focus on SAP S/4HANA. We shape the digital future
