A wide variety of products, last-minute changes, and special requests from sales: In mechanical and plant engineering, the product structure determines whether an order results in a seamless process—or a chain of manual rework.
On January 28, 2027, at the S-Factory at SAP in Walldorf, we’ll show you how SAP Product and Process Governance (SAP PPG) creates this structure: for Configure-to-Order, Engineer-to-Order, and CTO+, for clean product data, and for a digital foundation that will also support the next generation of products.
Two customer companies will share insights from ongoing projects – Uhlmann Pac-Systeme and Scheuch GmbH. The event will also feature a research presentation from DĂĽsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, a deep dive into optimization potential through AI and the cloud, and an exclusive tour of the S-Factory, SAP’s innovation hub for the manufacturing industry.

The SAP PLM Roadshow 2027 is aimed at specialists and executives from customer companies – in other words, the people responsible for PLM processes within their own organizations. This is precisely what makes the format so effective: two customer presentations, an academic keynote, and an open exchange among users.
The number of participants is limited. Capacity is determined by the Cloud44 facility at SAP in Walldorf and the tour of the S-Factory. We welcome registrations from consulting and software firms, but can only guarantee a spot subject to availability.
We will initially place these registrations on a waiting list.
