How can production, quality, and logistics in the life sciences be mapped digitally end-to-end in a way that is compliant, auditable, and scalable? The SAP Exploration Workshop SCM provides a practical answer to this question in just one day. Following a case study from MEDICE Arzneimittel on lessons learned from the GUSTAV project and an outlook from SAP on supply chain, manufacturing, and agent-based AI under the guidelines of EU GMP Annex 22 and the FDA, you’ll discuss with cbs how to turn a vision into a robust roadmap.

In the afternoon, the event moves to the S.Factory at the SAP Experience Center. There, you’ll experience an end-to-end manufacturing story from production definition to batch release: A central master batch record defines process steps, work instructions, quality requirements, and production parameters, thereby guiding workers and equipment. DHC supplements validation approaches for the build and run phases as well as requirements for compliance and auditability.

Klaus Klimmek and Marvin Zerwas will be on site representing BDF EXPERTS. Their topic: the interfaces between ERP, the governance layer, and MES. How do product characteristics, rules, and manufacturing instructions reliably reach the shop floor, and how does the Electronic Batch Record remain traceable back to the approved manufacturing instruction? Marvin Zerwas described this approach in his technical article in Tech4Pharma 3/2026. Both look forward to discussing this with you.
